About

Jasmine Price, LCPC, LPC

Founder of Pride Of Nyla

I am a North Carolina native who currently resides in the DMV with the person I chose to do life with and our three beautiful tiny humans.

As a clinician, my goal is to support you as you find empowerment, become self-aware, restore and improve relationships, and find inner peace.

I do so by using a strength-based approach, psychotherapy, and holistic interventions.

My academic career prepared me for my work as a therapist. However, my life experiences made me a better therapist. My personal journey and healing process have aligned me with the clinician I am and the approach I take with my clients. I believe that your mental health needs are just as important as your physical and spiritual health needs.

She is a two-time graduate of Salisbury University earning both her Bachelors and Master’s degree in Social Work. She also has additional social work experience in the areas of Child welfare and the military population as her current full-time employment is with the Veteran Affairs. Tayler is ready to support you in understanding your strengths and realizing that the answers you seek are already within you. She believes that through the development of a strong therapeutic alliance and providing an environment of transparency that all of her clients will be successful in achieving mental health wellness.

There is nothing more fulfilling to me as a professional than to observe the growth in my clients. In order to nurture the growth process, I am intentional about practicing cultural humility. I do not assume that I know about you. I leave space for you to educate me on who you are. This way, we can create a space of mutual respect and understanding so that the therapeutic process is authentic.

When not working I enjoy traveling south to recharge and connect with the people who pour into me. I also enjoy writing poetry and listening to true crime podcasts.
