Therapy services are applicable for individuals, couples, families, and groups. It is our belief that you do not come to therapy broke or to be fixed. You come to therapy for support, clarity, and the tools to work with; not against self. It is our job to affirm, practice cultural humility, and reassure folx that they are the experts of self. This is done through trauma-informed care, somatic (body) work, and inner child work. Traditional forms of therapy can be harmful to members of BIPOC communities as they tend to focus solely on presenting symptoms, immediate fixes, and do not take into consideration systemic structures that contribute to presenting symptoms. So, in a world that demands more than it gives, it is imperative that you find your truth and find your way to authenticity.
